Design Process
The Shamrock Table by Philipp Aduatz is a further development of his Singularity Table. The shape of the object, seen from the top, resembles a shamrock or four-leaved clover. From the designer’s point of view it is obtained by applying a geometrical operation. Folding one side to the center led to the Flower Chair, whereas the Shamrock Table results from duplicating the Singularity Table and then rotating one copy 90 degrees around its vertical axis. Plate glass covers the center to prevent objects from falling in.
