Philipp Aduatz Unveils Biocomposite Furniture Collection for Milan Design Week 2024

Philipp Aduatz reveals a new furniture collection for Milan Design Week 2024, emphasizing experimentation and artistic expression. The collection includes a chair, side table, coffee table, and lamp, crafted from biocomposite materials such as wood, flax fibers, and partially biobased epoxy resin. Aduatz’s process involves wrapping locally sourced branches with flax fibers and dyed resin to create unique sculptures. Departing from traditional materials, he aims to minimize the carbon footprint of each piece. Aduatz’s dedication to pushing creative boundaries is evident in the unconventional design and material choices of the collection, offering a fresh perspective on furniture creation. Visitors to Milan Design Week 2024 can expect an exhibition that explores the intersection of experimentation, artistry, and design innovation.

The collection will be on show at Isola Design Gallery from April 15th till April 21st 2024 at Lampo – Scalo Farini, Via Valtellina 5, Milan
